Walleye was a bucket list item for me, but after 5 previous trips with other guides and no walleye I had almost given up. We had an awesome day on Stockton Lake and we caught a lot of fish including walleye!! This was my first time on Stockton Lake and I really like the lake and the area. Tom's knowledge of the lake and his fishing techniques were outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to fish with him again and refer him to others. Thank you, Tom for helping me cross walleye off my bucket list. He's nothing short of a FIVE STAR ⭐

My first time fishing Truman Lake in Missouri with Tom Doty of Doty Outdoors. We had some severe weather the night before we went out, but Tom still managed to get us on some nice blue cats. It was really interesting watching Tom work all those poles. Being from Northern California that technique was new to me. Hell of a good job, Tom 👍

Trip - Private 6 Hour Pomme De Terre Crappie Fishing Trip on April 16, 2026

WOW, i have been searching for the right words to describe Capt Tom Doty. There are two words that come to mind one is Also a word for an object of love that AWESOME and accommodating. I wanted to create a memory for my son and me I trusted Capt Tom to do this that a big load for someone you don’t even know. We celebrated my son’s birthday at Truman catfishing for blue cats. It was a missable day weather wise but he put us on the fish. The following day we celebrated my birthday at Pomme D Terre fishing for Crappie. It was a bad windy day. But again Capt Tom put us on the fish. I’m a 70 year old handicap with chronic pain and a very bad heart. Capt Tom took care of me. The lunch he fixed up was worth the price. I hope that I live long enough to do another trip or two with Capt Tom Doty. If you looking for a true professional then look no further than Tom Doty.
